Being an Introvert

It’s estimated roughly 75% of people are extroverts (although the image at left says its higher for writers). That makes us the majority. Thus, introverts feel a bit put upon. It’s an extrovert’s world. There are tests, but you pretty much know. Do crowds energize you or drain you? How do you feel when you’re…

When I was younger, I read a book on being an introvert because that was the person I thought I was.  I found out that my energy comes from within and the book was absolutely right.  I felt like I was still outgoing but in a different way.  I loved to socialize but in a different way.  I didn’t like being the centre of attention or even noticed, but I liked being with other people and being a part of something bigger than myself – just in an introverted way.  With that understanding, I got to like myself better.  If you are an introvert or not even sure, you should read a book about being an introvert.  It may help you to understand the concept better.
